Make Your Life & Work A Success Story!
We are what you need for supporting your life, family and work:
Personal Safety Nets®
We teach you, and the groups you're connected with, how to find the tools, knowledge & resources which will prepare and organize you for life's upcoming challenges and changes.
Whether you're dealing with a child leaving home, military deployment, operating a family business, child birth, a medical emergency, a dysfunctional workplace, or hundreds of other challenges, the end result is a more safe, secure, and satisfying life. With your plans, resources and people identified and informed, your whole life is more secure and connected, replacing fear and isolation with security and community.
We offer FIVE PROGRAMS to fit your group, the community at large, work-place settings and educational institutions. Ours are customized services which focus upon your needs and wants.
- Workshops cover the basics of safety nets through stories and activities;
- Presentations guide and empower you towards building your own personal safety net;
- Multi-Session Classes (our most popular option) help you assess and make critical steps towards compiling your people, plans and papers whether you're beginning to organize, completing, or updating your personal safety net;
- Consulting & Keynote Speaking allows us to share our 30 years of experience with the goal of helping you, your family, or your staff develop a better system and plan for moving ahead with your personal and business life;
- Education & Workplace Training provides a structured "Train the Trainer" curriculum that teaches educators, instructors, managers, HR staff and non-profit Board members, volunteers and staff Personal Safety Nets® skills to be taken back and used at their workplaces and organizations.
OUR MISSION is to spread the news that interdependence and community are stronger than isolated independence. We accomplish this by teaching skills and offering guidance on creative ways to fulfill our fundamental human need to build and maintain strong networks of support and creativity in our personal, community, and work places.
Age-old words in support of our mission:
Every prophet sought out companions.
A wall standing alone is useless
but put three or four walls together,
and they’ll support a roof and keep
the grain dry and safe.
When ink joins with a pen, then the blank paper
can say something.
Rushes and reeds must be woven
to be useful as a mat. If they weren’t interlaced,
the wind would blow them away.
Like that, God paired up
creatures, and gave them friendship.

A new study that we follow tells us that prepared foods contain an average of 8% more calories than what their packaging label says. And restaurant meals can contain up to 18% more calories than what the menu claims. And perhaps the worst news is that the Food and Drug Administration says these margins of error are perfectly O.K. Read on for the whole story.
